Brown Bear
An iconic mammal of the british countryside.
For more than a decade I have been documenting the lives of Brown Hares in the British countryside. My work has crossed counties and seasons in search of unique images of my favourite mammal. I have spent thousands of hours in their company, looking to explore the landscape the way they see it, from picking them out in the landscape to getting so CLOSE I can inspect their ticks, I simply love working with these long eared fellows!
The work has been mainly based in Hertfordshire, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire, with the help of the RSPB, local land owners and the Cambridgeshire RCAT Team.
I have spent multiple years working on the incredible RSPB Havergate Island where I also run day workshops in the spring for Brown Hare Photography.
